The UMP-80CF is an Umbrella-Type Radial accessory designed to be installed near the base or feed point of a vertical antenna or mast antenna, functioning as an artificial ground plane / RF counterpoise system.
How to Use:
1. Installation Position
• Secure the UMP-80CF to the antenna base, feed point, or mounting support using the M10 × 1P thread.
2. Deploy the Umbrella-Type Radial Arms
• Multiple carbon fiber radial arms extend outward in an umbrella configuration, forming a symmetrical radial structure.
3. Use with Vertical Antennas
• Suitable for HF / VHF / UHF vertical antenna systems, especially in portable, temporary, or environments where ground radials cannot be deployed.
4. No Ground Burial or Long Radial Wires Required
• The umbrella-type configuration provides an effective RF return path without the need for buried ground radials or extended ground wires.
